Privacy policy

What data we process, why, who receives it, how long we keep it and how you exercise your rights. This policy meets, from today, Ley N° 7593/2025 on Personal Data Protection, which applies from 27 November 2027.

Last updated: 18 September 2026

The controller of your data is the company that operates Yugoproof:

Company name:
reserved
Legal form:
reserved
RUC (taxpayer number):
reserved
Registered address:
reserved
Telephone:
reserved
Email for questions about your data:
reserved
Data protection officer:
reserved
  • When you ask for a consultation: your name, your email, your telephone if you give it, your nationality, the country you live in, the service you are interested in, your answers to our questions and your message, together with the language and the site you wrote from.
  • When you open an account: your email and your password, which we do not know because it is stored encrypted; if you sign in with Google, the name and email Google shares with us.
  • When we work on your file: the documents you upload, which may include identity documents and criminal record certificates, and those produced in your procedure.
  • Always: the record of every access to your file, who and when, which you can see in your portal.
  • To answer your consultation, with your consent, which you give by sending it and may withdraw at any time.
  • To prepare and file your application and keep you informed, because that is the service you engage.
  • To issue your invoices and meet our legal obligations, because the law requires it.
  • To protect your file, recording every access and preventing misuse, under our legitimate interest in the security of the service.
  • Your Paraguayan lawyer, matriculated before the Corte Suprema, who prepares and signs your file.
  • An escribano público (the Paraguayan public officer who certifies documents and deeds) or a translator, when your procedure requires one.
  • The authority your procedure is filed with, for example the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones, the DNIT (the tax authority) or the SUACE (the single window for opening companies).
  • The providers of our infrastructure: Supabase (database and files) and Vercel (hosting), both in São Paulo, Brazil; Resend (email delivery), which keeps its sending data in the United States; Google, if you sign in with your Google account; WhatsApp, when you give us a number and we reply to you there; and Anthropic, whose model drafts the replies of Ignacio, our assistant: Anthropic processes them in the United States, keeps them for 30 days at most and never uses them to train its models.
Role of your Paraguayan lawyer:
reserved

When your data leaves Paraguay, it does so because it is needed to provide the service you engaged.

A client’s file is kept while the service lasts and, afterwards, as long as our legal obligations require, tax obligations in particular.

We never delete a document on our own: we archive it, and you can ask us to erase it.

How long a consultation that does not become an engagement is kept:
reserved

You may ask us at any time, free of charge, to access your data, correct it, object to its use, erase it or receive it in a format you can take to another provider, and to withdraw the consent you gave.

Write to the email given in the section on who is responsible for your data: we answer within thirty calendar days of your request.

No decision about you or your file is taken by an automated system. Every step in your procedure is taken by a named person, and it is recorded.

Ignacio, our assistant, answers simple questions in your file messages with answers your lawyer has approved, and hands everything else to the team; he decides nothing about your procedure.

We use only the cookies strictly necessary for the site to work: your session cookie when you enter your portal, the one that remembers whether you prefer the sidebar collapsed, and the one that protects signing in with Google.

Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your own browser. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why we do not ask you to accept them.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a free complaint with the Agencia Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales, the authority created by Ley N° 7593/2025.
