Residency, tax and company work: we prepare it, file it and carry it to the end, from Asunción.

European standards. Paraguayan law. One structure that answers for both.

We know what it is to plan this from Europe with nobody to ask. We made that part our job instead of yours, and we made sure the path is bullet-proof.

The translator, the accountant, the office that certifies your documents: in Asunción they are the Yugoproof network.

We put our name behind each one.

  • The same lawyer takes your file and stays with it to the end.
  • We know which form to file, at which counter, and which requirement changed last month.
  • When you have to appear in person, we walk in with you.

One of us was where you are now.

I came here to live. Deciding was the easy part. What came after I faced on my own, and what I remember is the silence. Choose the wrong people here and it is still exactly that: your file is somewhere, you are not, and nobody tells you what happens next.

Then I found the lawyer who got me out of it. He is my partner today. He practices the whole of it — residency, tax, companies, property — and he signs your file himself.

We built Yugoproof so the next person would find him on the first day. Everything that is not the law comes to me: I am your one contact and your bridge to this country. I made the same crossing you are making, and it matters to me how yours goes. For the whole of it, I’ve got your back.

We take the cases ourselves. When you write, one of us reads it — and if your plan will not work, you hear it from us before you spend anything.

Every procedure, one point of contact

Your Paraguayan lawyer signs and files; the French founder orders the rest — accountants, banking contacts, administrations — to European standards, so a relocation or a corporate structure is compliant from the first filing.

No obligation · you speak to a specialist before anything is filed

Who we help

Built for modern global citizens

Four situations we take on, drawn as we handle them: the route in order, and what each filing unlocks. Choose the one closest to yours.

Residency + banking

Expats who need financial access again

Your lawyer files your residency and RUC and accompanies you to Migraciones and to the bank appointment, so your banking access is rebuilt on a legal footing.

  1. Temporary residency
  2. Cédula
  3. RUC
  4. Bank appointment
  5. Permanent residency
Assess my situation

What this unlocks

  • Local and multi-currency accounts through a lawyer’s introduction, not a cold application
  • A second residency, with permanent status reachable once the qualifying period is met
  • A tax number that survives a bank’s review
  • International transfers and card payments from a Paraguayan account

Your file, always in view

You never ask where your file is. You open it.

Every document has a state, every step has a date it was done, and counsel’s verification is a line you can read, not a phone call you must make.

Tell us what you want to do

Your lawyer assesses your situation and your eligibility, then tells you which procedure applies.

We present it to the authority

Your lawyer files with Migraciones or the DNIT, and a deed that needs one is signed before an escribano público, who certifies signatures, authenticates copies and executes deeds; your portal records the filing date.

Three taps to your route

Not sure which service is yours? Three taps, and you know.

What you want, your situation, where you are. The check names the service that fits and the first question your lawyer settles with you.

  • Nothing is sent or stored: the check runs in your browser and ends on a service, not on a form.
  • The consultation opens on that service, and you answer every question yourself, so what reaches the lawyer is what you meant.
  • Each route named here is one we file: the general and Mercosur routes under Ley N° 6984/2022, the investment route under Ley N° 4986/2013.

What do you want to do?

Your quote, in writing, before anything is filed

The prices you saw are the standard route’s. For a temporary residency, one trip to Asunción instead of two carries a higher fee and saves a second set of flights, hotels and days away. Your written quote names your route and its fee.

Why Paraguay

Six facts about Paraguay, each with its article

Each card quotes the text in force, with its article, and explains it in one line. No adjectives of ours: the text, and what it means for your file.

Only Paraguayan-source income is taxed

Personal income tax reaches activities carried on in Paraguay, assets located here and rights used here. What arises in another country sits outside its base. How that reads for your own flows, your Paraguayan lawyer settles in writing before any filing.

“Estarán gravadas por este impuesto las rentas de fuente paraguaya previstas en el artículo anterior, provenientes de actividades desarrolladas en la República, de bienes situados o de derechos utilizados económicamente en la misma.”
Ley N° 6380/2019, Art. 48

A residency in two stages, fixed by law

Temporary residency is granted for up to two years, renewable for the same period, and is required before permanent residency, which is indefinite. Your Paraguayan lawyer prepares the case and files it with Migraciones.

“Será otorgada por un plazo de hasta 2 (dos) años, prorrogables por igual período y será requisito previo al otorgamiento de la Residencia Permanente.”
Ley N° 6984/2022, Arts. 46 y 47

A route of its own for MERCOSUR nationals

A national of a member state obtains legal residency in Paraguay by proving that nationality and filing the requirements the Agreement lists. Your Paraguayan lawyer gathers those documents with you.

“Los nacionales de un Estado Parte que deseen residir en el territorio de otro Estado Parte podrán obtener una residencia legal en este último, de conformidad con los términos de este Acuerdo, mediante la acreditación de su nacionalidad y presentación de los requisitos previstos en el Artículo 4° del presente.”
Ley N° 3565/2008, el Acuerdo, Art. 1

Your identity card comes with the residency

Paraguay’s National Police provides the identity card to foreigners with temporary residency and with permanent residency. It is the document banks and authorities ask to see.

“La Policía Nacional debe proveer Cédula de Identidad paraguaya a los extranjeros con Residencia Temporal y Residencia Permanente.”
Ley N° 6984/2022, Art. 62

Public debt at 34,8 % of GDP

Paraguay’s Ministry of Economy and Finance reports the public debt at 34,8 % of GDP to July 2026. It places it within manageable limits for the country’s public finances.

“Por lo tanto, el nivel de deuda en relación con el PIB, que alcanzó un 34,8 % a julio de 2026, se encuentra dentro de los límites manejables para las finanzas públicas del país.”
MEF, Reporte Mensual de la Deuda Pública, julio 2026

Year-on-year inflation at 1,5%, against a 3,5% target

The Central Bank of Paraguay reports year-on-year inflation at 1,5% in August 2026. The target is 3,5%, restated in its communiqué of 25 August.

“La inflación interanual se ubicó en 1,5%, resultado inferior al 1,6% registrado en julio del corriente, y por debajo del 4,6% observado en el mismo periodo del año anterior.”
BCP, Informe de Inflación, agosto 2026 · Comunicado CPM, 25 de agosto de 2026

The French founder built this process to European standards and checked every source cited here when it was filed. Your Paraguayan lawyer, the founder’s partner, tells you which of them governs your case, in the first exchange and without fee.

Ask at any hour. The assistant answers from your file, and a lawyer takes every step.

The assistant reads your file, not a brochure. It tells you what is still to gather and what happens next. It never files, signs or promises: a named lawyer files and signs, and you see who.

The people we work with

One lawyer, and the whole network a file needs

Your lawyer in Asunción has filed for foreigners for years, and your file never depends on a stranger: everyone it passes through already works with us.

  • The escribano público

    The officer who certifies deeds

Certifies your signature and authenticates the copies the authorities require, and the power of attorney that lets us act while you are abroad is granted before them.

Spares youA day in an office you do not know, in a language you may not read.
  • The traductor público

A translator enrolled to practice in Paraguay

Translates your foreign documents into the Spanish the authorities recognize and signs them as only an enrolled translator may; we coordinate the apostille so the two arrive together.

Spares youA file returned for a missing seal.
  • The accountant

A network contador público, or your lawyer

Keeps the books and files the returns a residency or a company carries once your lawyer has registered the RUC; your lawyer works with accountants who already handle foreigners’ files.

Spares youLearning the DNIT’s calendar yourself.
  • The bank

    Through your lawyer’s own contacts

We introduce you to the bank through contacts your lawyer already works with, with the account file prepared to the bank’s own review criteria and the appointment already arranged.

Spares youA cold application refused for a missing paper.
  • The property agency

    For the investment residency

Properties presented through an agency we already work with, and the purchase deed signed before the escribano.

Spares youBuying blind in a market you do not know.
  • Years of files behind every person we introduce you to. You deal with people who have done this before, not a directory.

Questions people actually ask

Before you start

Can I do this myself?

You may file on your own behalf. What you engage us for is the file as it must be filed: a lawyer who follows each requirement as the authority amends it, documents admitted on form and on substance at the first filing, and a mandate carried through to the final document while you attend to your own affairs.

Who actually presents my file?

Your Paraguayan lawyer, matriculated before the Corte Suprema and the founder’s partner. He signs each filing, appears before the authority and answers for the file; the French founder built the process around it to European standards and carries everything that is not the law. You deal with the two of us: one point of contact, one platform, one account, in your language.

Do I have to come to Paraguay, and when?

At most twice, and only where the procedure requires your person: the biometric enrollment for the identity card, and the bank’s interview with the holder of the account. Everything else your lawyer does here under the power of attorney you grant before an escribano público — the filings, the answers to the authority, the collection of your documents. Your quote states the trips your route requires and names the route that requires one instead of two.

Your documents

Which documents will you ask me for?

The list for your category, drawn from the requirements the authority publishes for it, not a generic checklist: each document named, the office that issues it in your country, and whether it must carry an apostille and a translation by a traductor público matriculado. You obtain them; we examine each one before it is filed.

Do they need an apostille, and who translates them?

Documents issued abroad are apostilled in the issuing country and translated in Paraguay by a traductor público matriculado, the enrolled translator whose signature the authorities admit. Both belong to the mandate: we coordinate the apostille and the translation so the two arrive together, and an escribano público certifies your signature and the copies the authority requires.

Are the documents real?

Every document your file produces is issued by the competent Paraguayan authority and is verifiable with it directly. Your file is signed by your Paraguayan lawyer, matriculated before the Corte Suprema, and every step in it is recorded in your portal, dated and signed.

Your file

Can I follow what is happening?

Yes. Each stage of your file is recorded the moment it changes, so status is read in your portal, never requested by email — and every access to the file is recorded as well, with who opened it and when.

What if the authority asks for something more?

Your lawyer answers the requirement letter and files the response with its supporting documents, and both appear in your file the same day. Nothing in that exchange waits on us.

What happens while I am abroad?

The file proceeds. Under the power of attorney you granted, your lawyer files, answers and collects on your behalf while you are away, and the portal records each step as it is taken, in your language.

Money

Do I pay before anyone looks at my case?

No. You open your file, a lawyer examines it, and only then do you receive a written quote for your route: one fee for the complete mandate — the lawyer, the escribano público, the translations, the filings and the follow-through to the final document. Nothing is charged before you approve the quote.

Ask us about your situation

Tell us what you want to do in Paraguay. Your Paraguayan lawyer reads your consultation, and the first exchange has no fee.
